Its ingredients mainly come from the spice trade. Its name “ Bartolomeo ” is a tribute to Bartolomeo Dias, a Portuguese explorer who was the first to cross the Cape of Good Hope. This major discovery would open ten years later the route to India and the spice trade.

Its delicious taste was rewarded in 2018, the year of its creation, with the Silver Medal at The Spirits Business gin masters.
