One of the best sweet wines in the world!

Château Yquem is considered a jewel of French viticulture. It is the only estate in the Sauternes appellation classified as Premier Cru Supérieur. The castle has been listed as a historic monument since 2003. You must taste it at least once in your life! The grapes are harvested grain by grain by hand and carefully sorted to select only the best affected by the noble rot emblematic of Sauternes wines. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for several years to develop its complex aromas and unique texture. This wine is silky and velvety, with incredible aromas of candied fruits, citrus, honey, caramel and spices. Its sweetness is balanced by a refreshing acidity, making it both intense and fresh. It is said to be one of the best dessert wines in the world. But I recommend trying it with foie gras or blue cheese.
